Middle schools shall have a performing arts center with the ability to put on shows, as well as build sets and operate Audio/visual technology for full performances. Outdoor build space is acceptable if shaded and protected from the weather. Spaces that house drama classes shall include adjacent areas to prepare makeup, change clothes, and practice with AV technology.
Performing arts centers should function with and adapt to a variety of Audio/Visual equipment. Acoustics and lighting shall utilize best practices for performing arts centers.
